Bathtub
A bathtub, seen from above, with the drain at one end.
This explains what a symbol represents on a drawing. Conventions vary between firms and standards, and a drawing's own legend takes precedence.
How to read it
The Army's print-reading manual labels the bathtub symbol BATH. The Navy's Utilitiesman course lists recessed, corner recessed, sunken and leg types, 1.2 to 1.8 m (4 to 6 ft) long.
