Door swing
A hinged door, drawn with the arc it sweeps as it opens.
This explains what a symbol represents on a drawing. Conventions vary between firms and standards, and a drawing's own legend takes precedence.
How to read it
On a floor plan, a straight line shows the door leaf standing open and a quarter-circle arc shows the path its edge travels. The end of the line that meets the wall is the hinge side, so the drawing shows which way the door opens.
