Mute symbol
Mute. A loudspeaker crossed out means the sound is off.
How to read it
A loudspeaker with a cross or a stroke through it is the mute symbol. Unicode encodes it as U+1F507, the speaker with cancellation stroke,, next to the plain speaker, U+1F508. Windows has its own Mute icon in Microsoft’s Segoe Fluent icon set.
