Maintenance reminder light
A spanner-shaped light that shows scheduled maintenance, such as an oil change, is due.
How to read it
The symbol is a spanner (wrench). Honda’s Maintenance Minder indicator shows that maintenance is coming due or is due now, such as an oil change or tire rotation, with the details on the information display. Mazda says its wrench indicator light comes on when the preset maintenance period arrives. It isn’t the oil pressure warning light, which warns of a fault.

Why it can come on early
Mazda’s manual says the light may come on for reasons other than the preset maintenance period, depending on how the vehicle is used.
How it goes out
Mazda’s manual says the engine control unit has to be reset whenever the engine oil is replaced.
