Turn signal indicators
Green arrows that flash when a turn signal or the hazard warning lights are on.
Dashboard symbols vary by manufacturer. The vehicle's owner's manual or a qualified mechanic can say what a light means for a particular vehicle.
How to read it
The symbol is two arrows side by side, pointing away from each other, and Canada's Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations set it as green. Toyota says it indicates that the right or left turn signal has been activated. Ford's F-150 manual says it flashes for the direction indicators or the hazard flasher, and that a faster rate of flashing warns of a failed indicator bulb.
