Do not enter sign
A red and white regulatory sign marking a road or ramp that traffic may not enter from that direction.
How to read it
The 2023 edition of the MUTCD lists where it is required, among them where a two-way roadway becomes a one-way roadway and where an interchange exit ramp meets the crossroad, and places it where a driver could wrongly enter a divided highway, a one-way road or a ramp. It works with the WRONG WAY sign: Pennsylvania's manual calls the two a team, with DO NOT ENTER at the start of one-way streets and ramps and WRONG WAY placed farther along.
