Service AdvanceTrac
A message on a Ford's information display: the AdvanceTrac stability control system has detected a condition that needs service.
How to read it
Ford's 2024 Escape and 2020 F-150 manuals list "Service AdvanceTrac" among the traction control messages, for when the system detects a condition that requires service, and say to contact an authorized dealer as soon as possible. The F-150 manual adds a warning chime that sounds with it when there is a malfunction in the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) or Rollover Stability Control (RSC) system.

Ford lights vary by model and year. The owner’s manual for the vehicle says what each light means on it, and a Ford dealer or a qualified mechanic can say what it means for a particular car.
The stability control light
The F-150 manual says Ford's stability control and traction control indicator flashes during operation. The Escape manual says that if it does not come on when the power is switched on, or stays on, it indicates a malfunction. See the stability control light.
