Nissan VDC OFF indicator light
Nissan's indicator that Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), its stability control, has been turned off.

How to read it
Nissan's 2024 Rogue manual says the light comes on when VDC is turned off, meaning that the VDC system and traction control are not operating. The 2020 LEAF manual says it comes on when VDC is turned off in the vehicle information display.

Nissan lights vary by model and year. The owner’s manual for the vehicle says what each light means on it, and a Nissan dealer or a qualified mechanic can say what it means for a particular car.
Nissan's slip indicator light
Nissan calls the same car without the word OFF the slip indicator light. Both manuals say it blinks when the VDC system or traction control is operating, as the vehicle nears its traction limits. It has its own page as the stability control light.
