Honda's stability control light: it blinks while Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is working and comes on if the VSA system has a problem.

How to read it
Vehicle Stability Assist is Honda's name for electronic stability control. Honda's 2024 Civic manual says the indicator blinks when VSA is active, and comes on if there is a problem with the VSA system, brake assist, agile handling assist, the starting assist brake function or hill start assist.

Honda lights vary by model and year. The owner’s manual for the vehicle says what each light means on it, and a Honda dealer or a qualified mechanic can say what it means for a particular car.
What the manual says to do
Honda's manual for the 2020 Civic Type R says that if the VSA system indicator comes on and stays on while driving, there may be a problem with the system, and to have the vehicle checked by a dealer immediately.
